Medical Broad-Targeted Metabolomics Service

Medical Broad-Targeted Metabolomics is a high-throughput, precise quantitative metabolomic analysis technology specifically designed for medical research. This technology focuses on functional metabolites closely associated with health and disease in humans and commonly used animal models. It enables accurate quantification of over 1000 medically relevant, specialized metabolites. By comprehensively covering fifteen major metabolite categories (including but not limited to amino acids, lipids, bile acids, vitamins, hormones) and delving into core pathways such as energy metabolism, lipid metabolism, and amino acid metabolism, this technology provides a powerful and comprehensive solution for elucidating the metabolic mechanisms of disease development and for discovering and validating critical biomarkers.

Workflow

Consult with our technical support to clarify research objectives and determine sample types and quantities.

Perform sampling, processing, and preservation according to our provided Sample Preparation Guidelines, and ship samples on dry ice.

Upon receipt, samples undergo processing, mass spectrometry detection, and strict end-to-end quality control.

Perform data preprocessing, statistical analysis, and in-depth data mining.

Deliver a complete electronic final report (including raw data and analytical results/figures) and provide necessary interpretation support.

Sample Submission Guidelines

To ensure statistical power and reliability of research findings, the following minimum biological replicate numbers are recommended for different sample types:

Sample Type Recommended Biological Replicates Per Group
Animal Tissues (various tissues, serum, feces, etc.) ≥ 10
Animal Cell Samples ≥ 6
Clinical Samples (serum, feces, cells, tissues, etc.) ≥ 25

Note: The above are general guidelines. The specific number of replicates should be determined based on experimental design, effect size, and individual variability. We can provide further advice during the project design phase.
