ELISA Kit Principle:
The ELISA kit uses direct competition ELISA to quantitatively detect Microcystin. The antigen in the sample to be tested will compete with the microcystin-horseradish peroxidase (HRP) conjugate for antibodies. After incubation and washing at a suitable temperature and a certain period of time, then TMD is added for the color reaction and the result is measured at 450 nm. The intensity of the color in the microplate is negatively correlated with the concentration of the analyte.
Cross Activity:
This ELISA kit specifically detects Microcystin & Modularin Toxins and almost has no cross-reactivity to various homologues.
Storage:
The ELISA kit should be stored at -20°C and should be performed at room temperature when used.
