ELISA Kit Principle:
The ELISA kit uses double-antibody sandwich to quantitatively detect the target. The microplate has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Superoxide Dismutase 3, Extracellular (SOD3). Then, standards or samples are added to the wells to react with the biotin-conjugated antibody specific to Superoxide Dismutase 3, Extracellular (SOD3). Next, Avidin conjugated to HRP is added to each well and incubated. Finally , the mixture of the substrate is added to generate glow light emission kinetics. The intensity of the emitted light is proportional to the Superoxide Dismutase 3, Extracellular (SOD3) level in the sample or standard.

It has been verified that this product has high specificity and sensitivity to Superoxide Dismutase 3, Extracellular (SOD3) and has no cross activity to other homologs.
Assay Procedure Summary:
1. Prepare the reagents, standards, and samples needed for testing; 2. Add 100 µL/well sample or standard to the microtiter plate, incubate 2 h at 37°C; 3. Aspirate the reagents added in the previous step, and then add 100 µL of the prepared solution A, incubate 1 h at 37°C; 4. After washing the plate 3 times, add 100 µL of the prepared solution B and incubate 30 min at 37°C; 5. After washing the plate 5 times, add 100 µL of Substrate solution and incubate 10 min at 37°C before reading the RLU value.

Stop Solution:
The stop solution of this kit contains sulfuric acid. Please use it safely and do not directly contact it.
