ELISA Kit Principle:
The ELISA kit uses direct competition ELISA to quantitatively detect Polybrominated Diphenyl Ether. The antigen in the sample to be tested will compete with the PBDE enzyme conjugate for antibodies. After incubation and washing at a suitable temperature and a certain period of time, then TMD is added for the color reaction and the result is measured at 450 nm. The intensity of the color in the microplate is negatively correlated with the concentration of the analyte.
Cross Activity:
The cross-reactivity of this ELISA kit for various congeners was PBDE Congener 47 (100%), PBDE Congener 99 (31.9%), PBDE Congener 28 (8.1%), 5’methoxy-PBDE-47 (159.7%), 5’OH-PBDE-47 (14.2%), 3’OH-2,4,4’-PBDE (7.8%), respectively.

The ELISA kit should be stored at 2-8°C and should be performed at room temperature when used.
